Plant-Forward Culinary Training
Your school nutrition staff will participate in a live, virtual culinary training to gain knowledge of plant-forward meals, cooking techniques, and recipes to create fresh, flavorful dishes using California-grown fruits and vegetables.

The same workshop will be offered across three days. Please select the day you would like to attend. You are welcome to register groups of staff on different dates, as needed.

Your district will receive:
- Plant-Forward Cooking Students Love, a chef’s guide with beautiful, instructional photos, culinary techniques, and scaled recipes that meet USDA guidelines. Recipes include a Thai Basil Burger, Buffalo Chickpea Salad, Lavash Wrap with Roasted Vegetables, and more.
- Student Engagement Guide to assist your school-level staff in connecting with students while promoting plant-forward dishes and ingredients.
- Resource Kit with 5 educational posters and 2 interactive survey posters with stickers to support taste test activities at schools throughout your district.
